Dancer and visual artist. My art is viscerally trained in the fierce language of Flamenco. I channel its energy into every piece I create, embodying emotion until it becomes form. I started with modern dance, drama and music at Conservatorio Castella, Costa Rica. In 1995 I moved to California and discovered my calling for Flamenco music and dance at The San Francisco Dance Center. In 2001 I decided to moved to Seville - Spain to pursue my career exclusively in the flamenco industry. This piece inspired on a research of "The Wounded Deer" by Frida Kahlo. It's about the intrinsic integrity of all human kind and the work we all must do in order to protect it during our journey in this crazy world. The deer and the goddess Diana or Artemisia represents a warrior who protects nature. The salt it is used metaphorically to signify permanence, loyalty, durability, fidelity, value and purification. Prevent decay of society, to fight against the tide of inhumanity and oppression.

Lost in the crowd where shadows play, chasing the inner gold light. The endless dreams and restless mind that keeps us spinning leaving our inner child behind. With the special collaboration from the distinguished dancer and choreographer Mercedes de Cordoba in one of the pieces from this work.
SUEÑOS

CAMMINO FLAMENCO A.S.D (founder)
Flamenco pioneer in the city of Brescia 2005 Among others, I brought the soul of Andalusia into the city of Brescia - Italy laying the foundation of this art form where it still echoes. In 2009 I officially established the cultural centre "Associazione Culturale Cammino Flamenco" where I worked as an artistic director and producer until the year 2013. My legacy is not just in the rhythms I unleashed - it lives in the steps of those I taught. My students, once guided by my passion, now blaze their own trails, carrying forward the art I fiercely love.
